Quick Containers is an Edinburgh based company who, having been formed by former senior employees of some of the UK’s largest container companies, have a combined 40 years’ experience in the container industry.
We wanted a business that focused on delivery, speed and customer care whilst aiming to provide our customers with a fast, friendly, and trustworthy service. Quick Containers sell new & used 10ft, 20ft & 40ft shipping containers, flatpack metal storage units, site office/welfare units and we also convert containers into houses, offices, businesses, cafeterias, viewing areas & more. We can source and modify any container with extra windows, doors, side openings, insulation etc, and for shorter term projects, we also offer a rental option on the shipping containers/site units. Our flat pack range of units are a great alternative to larger containers where space is tight. They can be customised with a range of accessories to make their use very flexible. As they are made of galvanised steel, they also offer great security for items in overnight storage and long-term usage. As they don’t require a Hiab lorry for delivery, they would be great for any projects you have where you want minimal impact and need something that can be easily taken down, easily moved or stored if required.

- We offer flexile site accommodation and welfare units such as offices, canteens, toilets, showers etc on a purchase or rental basis that are ideal for the onshore base install side of a project that is running for a long period of time. Along with this we supply standard storage containers in 10', 20' and 40' lengths, high cubes, tunnel containers and others types ideal for storing large equipment securely on site.We also supply flat pack steel units that can be used as stores or offices with the advantage that they can easily be erected by hand, taken down, moved and stored. They can be easily linked to give larger units if larger open plan areas are required.
Case studies
For CBL Cables at BAE Systems Glasgow, we installed a 16 bay modular outdoor office site comprised of several units joined together using our linking kits Some of these units were also converted into canteens & drying-room areas. We delivered and installed this in 2 weeks, which would've been even quicker if there had not been prior units at the site which had to be removed

We where approached for an office solution by CBL Cables. We supplied the office accommodation and also made alterations so that drying rooms and canteen facilities could be on site for their own use. By working closely with the client and one of our trusted suppliers we couild offer exactly what was needed in the time frame required.
We where approached to supply a client with an office facility and a storage facility that could fit into an area at the back of an existing building, so needed a relatively compact footprint.

We created a space using 2 x 40' containers and 1 x 20' container. The 40' containers where linked and sealed along the side with new double doors fitted to the side. The cargo doors where welded shut. This will be used as a store facility for a range of large and small items for operations and maintenance. The 20' container with anti-vandal shutters was stacked on top and a bespoke staircase was added for access. This was lined and insulated with lighting to provide an office unit.
