Case studies
BP Ampelmann Support Structure: Dales Marine Services were contracted to fabricate and install two supporting structures for the Ampelmann Gangway System on board an Offshore Supply Vessel. The structures weighed 46te and were 10x10x10.7m H. BP required delivery of both structures in 4 weeks with installation & commissioning taking a further week. The size of the units meant that they could not be moved by road and had to be assembled on quayside for loading out at Dales Marine’s alongside berthage.
