Case studies
Atlas supplied equipment to the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm back in 2018. Large winch equipment was supplied for the onshore cable pull in as well as range of mooring equipment including Anchors, Chain, Buoys, Shackles & Rigging.

Atlas supplied 2 x 60Tonne Winches for the onshore Cable Pull In along with an experienced operator to execute the cable pull. The winches were supplied with Wire rope, CT feature and Load Monitoring Systems. This ensured the pull on the cable was constant and could be monitored & recorded at all times. We also supplied the offshore vessel and jack up barge with various Anchors, Chain and Mooring Equipment.
Atlas recently supplied the Oresund HVAC Cable Installation Project in Denmark & Sweden. As part of the scope Atlas were required to supply Winch equipment to both side of the cable pull, a back up winch and operators for 24 hour cover.

Atlas supplied 3 x 20Tonne Winches for the onshore Cable Pull In along with 4 experienced operators for 24 hour operation. The winches were required to be mobile due to the restricted access to the beach areas. Atlas supplied 2 x trailer and 1 x track mounted winch which allow the winches to be easily moved and positioned on the beach. All 3 winches had built in Load Monitoring and Data Recording Systems so that the details of each pull could be provided to the client.
