Forth Ports Grangemouth is the largest port within the Scottish group, home to Scotland’s largest container terminal, as well as crucial Oil and Gas terminals.
Forth Ports Leith is Scotland’s capital port, situated just 3 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. It is the largest enclosed deep-water port in Scotland capable of handling vessels up to 50,000 DWT and is an important mobilisation and demobilisation facility for the offshore industry.
Forth Ports Dundee is a significant economic driver for the city and through investment has positioned itself as a market leader within emerging markets such as Offshore Renewables and Decommissioning of Oil & Gas industry platforms.
Forth Ports Rosyth is Scotland’s best connected port. With unrivalled logistics links and excellent marine capability, Rosyth is the port of choice for a wide range of customers and is Scotland’s premier Agricultural Hub.

Case studies

Port of Dundee was the assembly port for the first floating Offshore Wind Turbine for Kincardine Offshore Wind Farm in 2018. The base arrived from Portugal on a semi submersible vessel to our Deep Water Anchorages in Burntilsand. It was then towed round to Port of Dundee for onshore assembly and completion, prior to be being towed to the Kincardine Offshore Wind Farm, 15km for Port of Dundee.

Forth Ports Onshore and Offshore infrastructure was utilised throughout this project. Our Harbour Master and Pilots were critical to the safe and successful execution of the project. This project required a number of key factors for a safe execution. Deep Water for the Float on Float off operation, this operation was performed in our deep water anchorages in the Firth of Forth. Marine Capability, Towage, Pilotage and a highly experienced team to execute the tow plans and marine operations. Onshore Capability, Plant and Equipment, 1500 Tonne Crane and a Heavy lift quayside, 80mt/sqm

Port of Dundee played a key role in the thye Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm. Th one of the world's largest floating Crane Asian Hercules carried Wind Turbine Foundation from Barges in the Port of Dundee to the site.
